“Physical Chemistry just scares out you hell, please don’t afraid of it and try to open your arms very widely and welcome it heartily, it would start behaving properly with you”- the first sentence by Abbhijit Sir when I had spoken to him for the first time and that immediately subsided all of my fear for physical chemistry. It might be a worthless try to talk about his dedication and contribution in words even if I am gonna use strong vocabularies like “priceless”, “unparalleled” but on the other hand I cannot miss this chance to talk about one of my favourite persons! Let me start like this-
I had been always very uncomfortable with physical chemistry though I used to really like it so I badly needed a catalyst who could’ve made my broken relationship with P.Chem better. I still remember my first class in Abbhijit Sir’s tution and he started talking about Equilibrium thermodynamics and open systems and after 2hours of class when it was over I felt like it’s been only five minutes and then I realised “holly shit! It’s been two hours” and I said to myself “Yes! I found the catalyst” and from that day till date I still wonder how can one deconvolute all the complicated concepts of physical chemistry so easily and prepares himself in such a way that when they are delivered to us they seem so easy and simple. Followed by thermodynamics many complicated topics like quantum mechanics (debates are there to call it quantum chemistry), electrochemistry , statistical mechanics, photochemistry and many we went through and the way he set for us it was just walking on a cake though all the chemistry was not that easy to follow but AR’s class is special and exclusive mainly because of his simplified delivery of complicated physical chemistry that I truly believe. The style of teaching, the attitude of talking about chemistry, keeping eyes on subtle things and most importantly the nicely organized study materials altogether makes him a “PERFECT TEACHER”.
Alright! When I am talking about perfect teacher then how can one become a “perfect” teacher? With good lessons and notes?? Not really, I guess! Here I find Abbhijit Sir is one of the finest teachers who doesn’t only assure your learning of Chemistry but at the same time will become a very good friend and will make you so comfortable around him so that you can share any problem you’re going through and he tries to be there and gives full support and also motivates you to the fullest and that makes him an “IDEAL TEACHER” according to my sense.
Many more things I could’ve mentioned but it’s not a good attempt in pen and paper or typing. But in one sentence- Abbhijit Sir is one of those people to whom I will always be grateful and thankful for every single thing and I am really glad to be a part of his class.
