Hi, I am Sayantani Chakraborty. I studied B.Sc. chemistry honors from Asutosh college( 2014-17) and secured 76.875% marks in my 3 years honors exam. Presently I am pursuing my M.Sc. from Rajabazar Science College (Calcutta University). I am an ex student of Abhijit SIR. I joined Abbhijit sir’s class on the 3rd yr of my B.Sc. course,i.e., in 2016. But I never felt that I was a new member to the class. From the very first day I felt all the warmth and familiarity that made me feel as one of the class, or more, a family. And it doesn’t require mentioning that this was all because of AR sir himself. The man who can bring the class from its chatter to a silence without ever being angry or rude, the man who can make physical chemistry lovable and interesting to all his students by his intriguing mode of teaching, the man who can break the monotony of a class by his sensible jokes and one who always stand by his students as a friend and motivate them all through. It was a glorious journey on which I embarked being a part of AR sir’s class. Every few bit that I have achieved till now- be it the university marks or securing a place in competitive exams like PUMDET ( for Presidency university,GMR 7); IIT Dhanbad( AIR 5), Hyderabad school of chemistry(rank 43) or acquiring a seat in NIT Durgapur- a part of all must be attributed to AR sir’s efforts, doubt clearing sessions, his motivation and his endless help throughout. He is a man of immense knowledge and a genial personality, dedicated to his students. I will be always thankful to him for his massive support.
